Synopsis

Based on true events, Jerusalema tells the story of Lucky Kunene, who grows from a small-time car thief in Soweto to a major property owner in Johannesburg inner city. His method? Hijacking buildings from absent landlords and providing housing to the poor for a price. As his empire grows, so does the attention from both the police and rival criminals.
